AWP’s is celebrating a set of inspiring results in the 2024 London Mayor and London-wide Assembly Elections.

Mayor of London Election 

In the election for Mayor of London, AWP’s Femy Amin received: 29,280 votes (1.18% of the vote) and came 8th out of 13 candidates.

The party previously contested the London Mayoral election for the first time in 2021 when the election was then held under the Supplementary Vote system. With the Mayoral election now held under the First Past The Post, there were no second preference votes.

AWP Celebrates 2021 Local Election Results

Animal Welfare Party is celebrating some of its best results to date in the London Mayoral and Assembly Elections and in Lothian Region in the Scottish Parliament Elections. 

In the London Mayoral Election, AWP’s Vanessa Hudson received 16,826 first preference votes and 63,619 second preference votes.
