Animal Welfare Party is celebrating encouraging results in last week’s local elections in which the party stood two candidates: In Southend’s Victoria Ward, where AWP’s candidate Rik Moran stood for the first time, he received 105 votes / 3%. In Croydon’s Addiscombe West ward, where AWP’s candidate Saffron Gloyne stood for the first time, she received 155 votes / 1.6%.
